José Miguel has been an associate of our firm since 2018. During 2021, he performed a secondment in an important international mining company, supporting the legal team in a project of legal analysis and risk management.

He is dedicated to advising and representing domestic and foreign clients in civil and criminal, intellectual and industrial property litigation, particularly trademark and patent infringement, unfair competition and copyright. He is also involved in contractual and non-contractual liability litigation, as well as national and international arbitration of diverse nature.

In addition, he has advised clients on alternative dispute resolution, contractual analysis, risk management, and preparation of reports related to those practice areas.

Some of the clients he has advised include listed corporations, subsidiaries of transnational companies and local entities, dedicated to the fields of technology, retail, telecommunications, mining, viticulture, pharmaceutical, food and alcoholic beverages processing and distribution, among others.

• Advised an important international mining company as secondee in the coordination of a legal analysis and risk management project.
• Advising and representing important companies of retail, telecommunications, restaurants, food and alcoholic beverages producers in civil proceedings for trademark infringement and unfair competition.
• Advising and representing a multinational client involved in manufacture, rental and repair of mining equipment, in civil proceedings for patent infringement.
